Mrs. Joele Gerhard, Teacher, Kindergarten Blue
My name is Joele Gerhard and I have been an active member of the OMPH Parish for over 27 years.
I served as the Preschool teacher for seven years before taking on the role of the Kindergarten teacher at OMPH School. I am a graduate of Millersville University with a bachelor’s degree in Science in Elementary Education. I have been blessed to have both my children nurtured and educated at OMPH School, which is a positive and uplifting Catholic family environment. Each student that enters my Kindergarten classroom will be embraced and exposed to a welcoming, proactive, loving, and encouraging setting. They will experience an exceptional faith-filled curriculum through a comprehensive Language Arts and Math program. The students will enhance their learning and growth through discovery and many hands-on STEM activities throughout the year. My ultimate goal is to instill a life-long love of our Catholic faith, learning, reading, and exploration. These are the wonderful qualities OMPH School offered to my own children!

Their enthusiasm is both infectious and heartwarming. My career began through the Archdiocese of Baltimore where I taught for 8 years and also received my Masters Degree in Leadership in Teaching through Notre Dame of Maryland University. I then moved to Pennsylvania and began working through the Diocese of Harrisburg where I continued postgraduate work. I am a parishioner of St. Leo the Great Church. I love spending quality time with my 5 amazing nieces and 1 adorable nephew while also working in my garden.
