OMPH is excited for a week of fun activities Celebrating Our School!
Sunday, January 26 - Saturday, February 1, 2025
Sunday, January 26: Opening of Catholic Schools Week – Celebrate our Parish – We will be celebrating the 9:00 am Mass as a Parish and School family. Refreshments and an Open House will follow Mass until Noon. Science Fair, History projects and recycling projects will be on display.
Monday, January 27: Celebrating Our Community. Our students will be collecting items for Veterans, making cards for the residents of Keystone Villa, and donating Birthday bags to the parish Food Bank and other local organizations. We will also honor our staff and volunteers who do so much for our school.
Tuesday, January 28: Celebrating Our Students. Students will enjoy a dress down day, a treat from the PTO, a pep rally, and no homework!. Our Spelling Bee will be held for grades 4 to 6. The winner will represent our school at the Diocesan Spelling Bee.
Wednesday, January 29: Celebrating Our Nation. Students may dress in patriotic colors. Students in grades 4 to 8 will be competing in the Geography Bee. The winner will represent our school at the Diocesan Geography Bee. We will have service members, veterans, and elected officials recognized by the students.
Thursday, January 30: Celebrating Our Vocations. Students will have classroom faith bees today and will learn about religious vocations. The students will also make cards of encouragement for the Redemptorist and Diocesan seminarians, priests and the Benedictine Sisters who serve our parish.
Friday, January 31: Celebrating Our Teachers. Be kind to your teacher today! Thank you to the PTO for providing lunch for our teachers!

Join Us for an Open House on Sunday, January 26!
OMPH School students will be leading the 9:00 am Mass, followed by refreshments in the Gym and an Open House! All are welcome to visit our classrooms and meet our teachers after Mass until Noon.
PRIVATE TOURS ARE AVAILABLE DURING THE SCHOOL DAY!
Private tours are available on Mondays through Fridays all school year long!
